Multiple emails within itunes

When I click on account in iTunes, it shows my name and a defunct email address. When I click on View my account, it tries to log me in with the defunct email address. I can then log in with my current Apple ID/email address and the Account settings come up correctly. But the email on the account still shows the defunct address. If I try to download a song from the iTunes store it tells me I have to log in with the defunct address.

You refer to a defunct email address.


Has your Apple Account been changed to a different Apple Account?


Or did you reconfigure the same Apple Account to use a different email address?


If it is the latter, have you tried signing out of iCloud and out of the App Store, and back in?

I don’t know where the app store link is with Windows, but on iPhone and iPad, it is at the very bottom of the App Store page that usually has the list of app updates.
