My new iPad air 13 does not show chosen grey finish when closed
All iPads screens are black when shutdown.

I have a new iPad Air 13 when shut down instead of the usual black screen the iPad air 2025 uniquely has the choice of four finishes rather than black. I chose the grey pattern. It doesn’t show this I wanted to know how to get the specifically ordered finish
I have never heard of anything remotely similar to what you are describing. Like David says, when you shut down your iPad (any iPad), the screen is black. When you power it on, the screen is black with a while Apple logo in the center.
Don’t understand your question. Need more detail… a photo would be helpful.
I agree with David. What "grey finish"? Grey finish of what exactly? And what are you closing?
