Ultra Watch battery draining FAST with iOS26

I’ve tried everything based on numerous posts and help videos. My Ultra battery is oddly draining very fast ever since iOS26 upgrade. I’ve tried all kinds of suggestions. Just unpaired, deleted and repaired watch. Nothing is happening.

for reference: today I charged watch to 100%. Went to beach for run/walk. 70 mins tracking. After done watch battery was at 67%. 1/3 should be gone that fast.

any ideas? I think iOS26 has messed something up

Yes, the battery also drains faster on my Ultra 2 since watchOS 26.0.2

After wearing the watch during the night and 98min of cycling in the morning, the battery usage is at 1.50% per hour, compared to the usual 1.20% in watchOS 11.6.1 That's 21% in 15 hours, which include 8 hours of sleep. The watch uses under 1%/hour during sleep monitoring, but as soon as I start a workout, the battery usage starts rising more than in the past watchOS versions.

During the day, my paired iPhone is with me most of the time

Force restarting the watch and the iPhone seems to help for a day or so.

I have also used the Feedback link to make Apple Techs aware of the issue, the more users do that, the more likely the issue will be fixed in an upcoming watchOS update.
