May I use the USB-C port instead a Mag Safe 3 cable for charging?

I have a MacBook Pro M2 2023 14 inches with original 96 Watts Mag Safe 3 cable. The charger crashed. May I use similar charger, but on the USB-C port ?

Actually you may have a bad Logic Board. I have seen several of my organization's M2 2023 MBPros stop charging with the Magsafe Cable. I have also seen a couple of them also stop charging with the USB-C ports in addition to the Magsafe (also Logic Board failure).

Unplug the power adapter from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the Power Adapter's internal circuitry. I find very few Apple OEM Power Adapters fail electronically.....most of the failures are due to the cables or the Duck Head Adapters.
