May I use the USB-C port instead a Mag Safe 3 cable for charging?
I have a MacBook Pro M2 2023 14 inches with original 96 Watts Mag Safe 3 cable. The charger crashed. May I use similar charger, but on the USB-C port ?

Actually you may have a bad Logic Board. I have seen several of my organization's M2 2023 MBPros stop charging with the Magsafe Cable. I have also seen a couple of them also stop charging with the USB-C ports in addition to the Magsafe (also Logic Board failure).
Unplug the power adapter from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the Power Adapter's internal circuitry. I find very few Apple OEM Power Adapters fail electronically.....most of the failures are due to the cables or the Duck Head Adapters.
Also, see the Apple Magsafe power adapter troubleshooting article here:

Yes, you may use a USB-C port on your MBP to charge it. However, it will take longer to charge. you might find it worth the money to replace the oem ac adapter with a new one.
Or, use your MagSafe cable with the other similar charger that you already have. It is, after all, a USB-C connection on the charger end.

There are alternatives to charging —yes.
