Itunes Show Current Song and show the full song list not Album View

Hi

can anyone help fix this issue ?

Select a song to play

I have the song selected in Library - Songs but if i select controls up on the bar and select show current song playing it always shows it in Album view and not playing on the full song list so I can see other artists and the Genre around where I am if this makes sense ? I prefer to look at everything in song view rather then the specific album/song view.

This used to work fine but now it never does it
