Refund claim decision requiring 2 days.
Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue with a subscription that was accidentally charged to my account. I didn’t realize my card was linked to the app, and as soon as the charge went through, I immediately submitted a refund request and also emailed Apple support explaining the situation.
The concern is that my refund claim still shows “Decision Pending” until November 2, which means I have to wait two more days just to get a decision. This is quite stressful because:
- The app clearly shows no usage prior to the accidental purchase.
2.I took immediate action after the charge occurred.
Additionally, I’ve already contacted CamScanner support, and they confirmed that they cannot process the refund since all subscription payments and refunds are managed directly by Apple. I’ve attached a screenshot of their response and all relevant details to support my claim.
I’m in genuine need of the amount that was debited from my account, and this delay feels unnecessary given the clear situation. I would really appreciate it if Apple could expedite the refund process or explain why this long review period is required.
