Mixed language app descriptions in US App Store on iPhone

I have two Apple accounts, one for the Netherlands and one for the US. I am signed into the US one with English set as my main language on my iPhone and all the apps I have downloaded were also in English, from the US App Store.

For some reason now, if I update apps, their descriptions come in a mix of languages. What is going on here? Any suggestions to fix it?

Did you change the Apple Account as described in this article?

Change your Apple Account country or region - Apple Support

Are these apps available in both countries, and haven't been removed from your device when changing your region/country?

Yes and yes to both. This seems to only be happening on my iPhone, not on my iPad. However there are exactly three apps I’ve downloaded from the NL App Store (none of these for example). I have absolutely separate accounts for each country — different email, different password, different phone number. I am signed into the US account now, both for media/purchases but also in iCloud etc.

I’m not sure what my Microsoft account has to do with this, or what you mean by “point to”? I do have a Dutch App Store account with a completely separate login/password, but this issue is only on my iPhone, not my iPad or Mac. The same account is signed in on all of them.
