New Beats Flex Blinking Charging & Not Responsive

I just opened my brand new Beats Flex. I plugged my Beats Flex into the original charging cable as well as a few others and noticed a blinking white LED, which usually indicates pairing mode or a charging attempt. However, once I unplugged the device, it became completely unresponsive—no lights, no sound, no signs of life. I then tried the official restart/reset procedure, hoping to get it working again, but there was no LED activity during that process either. Despite all these efforts, the device remains completely unresponsive and won’t pair, as if it’s entirely dead.
