I recently upgraded my macbook pro's os to tahoe version26.0.1. Since then strange things as it my sound, my card reader doesn't recognize my sandisk flash card. I suspect the os upgrade disabled the card reader. I would welcome any advice with deep appreciation. Thank you...

Does the card reader recognize any flash card at all?
Have you restarted your Mac lately?
Rebooting is the best first step in troubleshooting.
