Face ID and Apple pay are not safe

My I phone 15 Pro Max was stolen on Sunday 26th at 00.15 in Barcelona, Spian. The police was called immediately. At 00.55 I marked my I Phone on my mac book pro at home as lost and put a remark that it got stolen.

I only use Face ID, never the Code. Called the bank as well to block the card

The next day, I found out, that 3275 Euros were taken out of my account. The shop must have realized, that the phone was blocked my me, so the amount was returned afte 15 minutes to my account.

If I wouldn t have blocked the phone, that money would have been lost.

I have no confidence anymore in these security features and will use my plastic card in the future. Not sure, where all my Data will end up.

I Bought a new I phone 17 ProMax today. Will never install Apple Pay or a credit card again. Really disapointed.
