Why iTunes Airplay does not work in Windows 10, however works fine in Windows 7?

I have 2 PC's in the same room connected to the same local network via ethernet. One PC is Windows 7 and the other Windows 10. Both PC's have iTunes installed and are signed in to the same iTunes account (not at the same time). The Windows 7 PC shows the Airplay icon connecting to 2 Denon receivers elsewhere in the house and both receivers work well with iTunes when either is selected. The Windows 10 PC does show the Airplay icon however when the icon is selected it doesn't do anything, no computer and neither Denon receiver. Judging by the dates on other submissions this has apparently been happening for a few years. Has anyone found a fix for this issue as it's apparently not the receivers, the network, the PC's or the wiring. It looks like a Windows 10 issue. I wonder if the issue goes away with Windows 11. Has anyone had success using Windows 11?
