Apple notes table gets huge

Dear community

I'm experiencing an issue in Notes on my iPhone. When I create a table and enter text into the cells, the table suddenly displays incorrectly.

The cell height becomes enormous—even though there's very little content inside (see scrollbar in the screenshot). In iCloud online, the table appears normal. I even started from scratch with a new note and created a new table, but the same issue reappears after a while.

There is no special character copied into the table.

This is a bug in iOS that I'm seeing as well. Swipe the table all the way to the right; it will then resize correctly. Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat this the next time you open the note.

You may want to report this issue to Apple so that they fix it: Product Feedback - Apple.

Thanks for confirming the bug—glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this behavior. I've reported it now via the feedback form. Swiping to the right side of the table really helps, though it doesn't always work on the first try. Thank you very much—at least it's usable again now.

I am so glad this is not just me! It has been driving me insane the past few weeks every time I open a Notes page with a table. I reported it on the feedback also so hopefully they can fix it.

I’m having problems creating a new table all together. The table button does nothing for me lol. Everything else works though
