Audio distorted only on my iPhone 15
Hi.
I have been experiencing some audio issues with all my bluetooth devices on my iPhone 15.
I have four different audio devices: AirPods 1, AirPods 2, Beats Studio Pro, an external speaker I bought at Miniso, and Airpods Pro 3rd Gen (this last one is the most recent one, and was bought after the issue with the audio started). They were all working fine until I updated my iPhone 15 to iOS 26.
The audio started distorting every now and then, only when they were connected to my iPhone. This happened on all apps that allowed audio (Apple Music, YouTube, Podcast, WhatsApp, etc), and during calls (I wasn't able to hear what they were saying or they weren't able to hear me). My friends told me my voice sounded like coming from a horror movie lol. I have since updated the software to the latest iOS 26.0.1.
I tried the audio on my MacBook Air M1 and my iPad Pro 4th Gen and all is good (both on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 and iOS 26.0.1, respectively). No audio issues, at least during video meetings and while I listen to music.
Then I bought the AirPods Pro 3rd Gen. Same issues. Same thing: Only on my iPhone 15. But this time, with the noise cancellation or adaptative audio turn on, there's a screeching noise that hurts my ears. Sometimes it's on the left ear, sometimes both. The only way I get to stop it, is by choosing to deactivate both mods. Which is a bummer, since I got the Airpods Pro because of their noise cancellation feature...
Anyway, even after deactivating the noise cancellation, my audio is still having the same issue as my other devices.
Also, if I listen to audio or take calls without any audio bluetooth device, the audio is fine.
So far, I've tried:
- Resetting my configuration settings
 - Force Restart the phone
 - Forgetting all my audio devices and reconnecting them again
 - Restarting my Airpods
 - Clean all my audio devices

Nothing has worked. I contacted Apple Support and the tech told me to force restart my phone (first time I had only turn it off and on again haha). And it worked!... for the day. The next day, my audio was getting distorted again.
I don't know what to do. Buying a new iPhone is not an option, and I'm feeling very frustrated. This has been going on since iOS 26 lauched, and now I can't go back to the old iOS version (I'm not even sure if that would help at this point anyway).
Btw, I also gave it a try with my old iPhone 11 (this one is on iOS 26) and the audio worked perfectly. The only issue was the same screeching sound with the noise cancellation option, but that's only on the Airpods Pro.
Sorry for the long post, but I serached for similar posts and they were all closed without a resolution.
