photos library display issue
When in my photos library in light mode, the battery, time, and number of photos is not displayed. In dark mode it’s visible, but it’s blocked at the top instead of fading like on other people’s devices.

You don't say what iOS you're using so it makes it hard to know. One possibility: Check settings in Accessibility. One thing that might affect what you're seeing is Transparency which, in iOS18, is under "Display & Text." Try turning Reduce Transparency on or off. You may find other things there that have an effect, as well.
