ATC does not backup after tahoe update

After updating to macOS Tahoe, Time Machine (TM) can no longer create new backups to the AirPort Time Capsule (TC). Apple has removed support for the older AFP protocol that the TC uses for file transfers.

If the TC’s backup share (“Data”) already contained your Mac’s previous TM backup, macOS Tahoe may still let you continue incremental backups for now — but creating new backups or connecting a freshly set-up Mac won’t work anymore.

The only reliable solution going forward is to switch to a different backup destination — for example, an external USB/Thunderbolt drive or a modern NAS that supports Time Machine over SMB.

Following the mentioned error message I'm also getting this (danish):

Den næste større version af macOS vil ikke længere understøtte Time Capsule-diske til Time Machine-sikkerhedskopier.

It seems that it's not the NEXT but the latest software update (Tahoe) that discontinued my TC backup - would have been nice to know since I can no longer return to previous OS, since TM ain't working anymore:(
