Airpod Pro 3 vibrations trigger ANC

Since upgrading to the Airpod Pro 3s, i have noticed that active noise cancelling (ANC) is triggered when on public transport. In particular, when on a bus, engine vibrations or uneven road surfaces cause the ANC to produce strange bassy buffeting sounds (like a car window half open on a highway/motorway), its really annoying and makes me feel nauseous.

Changing settings to 'Adaptive' helps sometimes, but the only true solution is to turn ANC off, which sort of defeats the point, especially when on a loud noisy bus.

Are others experiencing this? Are we reliant on a firmware update to resolve the issue?
