Home icon missing from Control Center on Apple TV (tvOS 26)

Hey folks,

Wondering if anyone else ran into this — my Home / HomeKit icon is missing from the Control Center on my Apple TV (tvOS 26).

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

iPhone and Apple TV (A2843) are on the same Apple ID
Apple TV is set up as my Home Hub (Thread network)
I’ve got a few lights and a motion sensor in Home App
I’ve also created a few scenes for lights

Everything works fine from the Home app on my iPhone, all automations and accessories respond perfectly, but the Home icon just never shows up in Control Center on the TV.

Some extra context:

I don’t have any cameras in my setup
Both iPhone and Apple TV are fully updated

Has anyone else seen this on tvOS 26?

Could Apple have changed something so the Home icon only appears if you have cameras or certain types of devices?

[Update Solved]

I finally managed to fix my issue after talking to Apple Support, they suggested doing the following:

"If you’re having problems with syncing or scenes not working, try these steps in this order:

1) Delete all your automations, scenes, and shortcuts.

2) Turn off Home sync in iCloud settings and uninstall the Home app.

3) Restart all your HomeKit devices.

4) Reinstall the Home app and set everything up again.

5) After adding and configuring your devices, go to Apple TV settings and assign it to the right room.

After doing all that, the Apple HomeKit icon finally showed up in the Control Center on my Apple TV.

It should be at the top to the left of your profile . Try restarting Apple tv if it’s not there.
