Sorting of icloud mail boxes in the mail application

I see that mail boxes that I make for "on my Mac" are sorted automatically in alphabetical order. However, this is not true for mail boxes located in the icloud. Dragging and dropping to resort ones mailboxes can be a very tedious task. Does anyone know the answer to this if so , please assist this old septuagenarian.
