Macbook Pros won't connect to HomePods or HomePods minis after updated to macOS 26

After updating all of our devices to OS26, our HomeKit setup works as normal for everything except our laptops, which cannot connect to any HomePod. We have several HomePods and HomePod minis. So, while our AppleTV and iPhones (we have 17 pros) connect just fine if I want to stream music from either of our MacBooks, they return an error that says: The AirPlay device “Office” cannot be selected for audio output. Please verify your network settings and AirPlay configuration or select another device.

It seems like connectivity with HomePods is a known issue, but I haven't found a solution specific to MacBooks. If anyone has any guidance or suggestions about what to try, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

HomePod, 26
