No Favorites import feature on Safari iPAD air

A now deceased US relative has passed me her !st Gen. iPAD Air model MD785LL/a. I'd like to import my Favorites from MS Edge or Google in my PC ( Windows 11) into the iPAD Safari. I have been hitting a brick wall for 3 days because there is absolutely NO import feature on the iPAD Safari. As simple as this. This is a serious drawback.

A previous post on this issue on this very same Community Forum has been partially replied with the " by the book" usual information and then left in limbo.

Without this, the Apple iPAD is useless for my need. I might as well throw it away.

By the way, I was trying to follow up on my previous thread, but I am unable to repost on the same thread.

While it is possible that I am doing something wrong or that the Safari browser on the iPAD Air is simply not designed to import Favorites, somebody should know and tell me..

Thanks

Franco

Your iPad Air1 is obsolete - and cannot be updated to iPadOS 13 or later (iPadOS 26 being current).

Until recently, there have been no mechanisms by which Favourites/Bookmarks could be directly imported to iPadOS Safari. If you use a Mac, you have greater flexibility in importing Favourites to Safari - and then synchronise Safari between devices using iCloud. Without a Mac, this opportunity is also not available to you.

If you replace your iPad with a much newer model that supports iPadOS 26, you will have much more flexibility.
