icloud for windows still under development?

Anyone know? Please no snarky responses or pointers to apple feedback.

I'm jsut curious if Apple is still supporting and developing iCloud for windows since it's so bad.

We’re just fellow users here with no knowledge of Apple’s future plans.

I never said that it wasn’t being “developed” but “developed” is an ambiguous term meaning different things to different individuals …

… but I wouldn’t think that anyone should reasonably expect any earth-shaking increases in ICFW’s capabilities.

Any software which hasn’t released an update in 20 months tells you “it’s doing what it’s designed to do.”

hopefully they will. Their Bug page <Bug Reporting - Apple Developer> doesn't have a way to report bugs for iCloud Windows, so I assumed it wasn't under development anymore.

I understand we are not apple employees (although I used to be one). Still, Apple folks sometimes post here, and people who know apple folks sometimes post here.

Being developed in the software world means there are one or more programmers assigned to the software to either keep it running or to add new features. No longer under development generally means no programmers are assigned to it, or it can also mean maintenance only, no no features.

In any event, I wanted to report a bug (iCloud for Windows doesn't recognize that the extension is installed in FireFox), and no way to report a bug usually means "no more development, even bug fixes". Sad.

Its a good question. My suspicion is its not completely dead, only because I have noticed periodic changes in the horribleness and bugs, so 'something seems to change'. Windows browser editing for iCloud Notes for instance is maddeningly horrible - ex: cut and paste functionality has always been completely missing - but today I find not even ARROW KEYS or HOME / END keys work from the keyboard.

Amazing. Can't use the ARROW KEYS in an editing screen.
