iPhone 12 mini is frozen

Step one is just let the phone battery deplete, charge it, and try to power in on again. If its not "powering on" charge it for a bit more and plug in into a PC or MAC and see if it recognizes it as a drive. That way you can rule out a screen issue, if it does not recognize the drive. After that its probably time for an upgrade.

followed by Recovery Mode.

Then you contact Apple Support.

Did you hold the side button until the white apple appeared?

If you did then take it in to be checked out, it may be hardware, maybe battery.

Beg to disagree, not a valid technique.

Not sure why this technique is not valid. This person stated that their phone is frozen and we know its an older phone. If you leave the phone to completely discharge the battery and then plug in to charge, if you do not get the battery charging icon to pop up you will be closer to understanding that this is probably a motherboard issue- which lots of iphone 12 had - you will then learn that its time for a new phone. Not sure what is not valid here. You can also deduce if its a screen issue if you indeed hear a charging sound. And again this states that the person already did a hard reset and that did not help.
