i require a version of the Pages app to install on my iPad 12.9inch Gen1

I have updated the iPadOS to the latest supported version 16.7.12 however when I try to install the Pages app it says it requires iPadOS 17. I understand that the Gen1 won’t support iPadOS however is it possible to get a version of the Pages app which will run on my iPad?

Not available.

Apple does not provide older versions of Pages for i/Pad/OS devices than what is currently available in the related App Store.
