Is the email I received about a settlement real?

I saw a post that was taken down earlier this year about this settlement. I have just got this notice and it seems like a phishing email just want someone to validate if it is real. The amount is not worth the risk. In my opinion appreciate any comments

You are right to be suspicious.

That said, sometimes legitimate emails from Claims Administrators DO appear terribly phishy.

(I suspect that it’s not by accident)

I’d suggest doing more serious research before providing ANY personal info.

You might consider using a “throw-away” email if you DO decide to make contact.

(And the payout indeed might not be worth your effort expended in research)

Look for the “Claims Administrator” of the lawsuit and look for their timeline/status.

More often than not, you needed to take some sort of action “long before now.”
