Clip is turning black in Final Cut Pro on Export & in Timeline

A Final Cut Project has 1 file that is one specific part of the file ( in 2 spots ) is turning black in the end timeline and exports black. The file plays in the timeline through the view field that it is still there but shows a black space and the export is black. I have removed the file and re-uploaded it, I have changed lut's colors, ect. It is only the start to finish part of the clip that was exactly timed for the edit, nothing before and nothing after. And There are other clips in the timeline where the same file is used and there is no issue.

Any ideas how to fix this?

It has happened before when I created a new "project" from an existing one and started editing that next version but this time it just happened out of the blue on the version that has been working fine for a while now.

I'd start by deleting render files. Any change?

If you play the clip from the browser, does it play correctly?

If the problem persists on the timeline, but the clip is fine in browser, you could try this: select the clip in the time; press Shift-F to Reveal in Browser; drag the browser clip onto the timeline clip, and select Replace. Does it work?
