"Search Book" drop down menu is inactive

Using Apple Books "search for word feature" does not work every time. Whenever I click on any of the suggestions, the space seems to be inactive, unless I restart the book. Restarting the book might fix the issue only for several searches / minutes and it becomes inactive again. This came with the new version Tahoe 26.0.1
