photos unzipped to files will not save to photos

Never mind! I am sorry. I finally figured out. My little pea brain was confused!

I received an email with a zip folder with school pictures. I unzipped the file and it saved the 6 photos to the FILES. I click each photo, click save photo… and it will not save each picture to my Photos. However, of the 6 photos, ONE will save to photos and the other 5 go to the recently viewed folder. Yes, I can see the pictures there however at night when all my photos back

up the recently viewed/saved folder does not back up. ONLY the Photos file.

yes I have the up to date iOS. I am at wits end! Can someone PLEASE HELP….

This sounds like a sorting problem. They're probably all there, just not where you expect. If the creation dates on the pictures are different, then they will go to different places in the Library. In the Library view, try to sort by Recently Added

to see the ones that you just imported. When you find them, look at the dates in the info window to get a handle on where to find them. You can also put these pictures into an album so you can find them together.
