AppleTV tvOS 26 Update Stopped Recognizing Cropped Photos for Screensaver

Before tvOS 26, I had my AppleTV screensaver playing origami from a "Screensaver" folder in my iCloud. That had its own issues (would only pull from a small number of photos a day, not the whole folder), but since the tvOS 26 update -- a big issue has arisen:

A lot of the photos in that folder are screenshots that I then cropped in Photos. Originally, the OS recognized the cropping and would only display the cropped part of the photos. Now the OS does not recognize the cropping. Example: I would take screenshot of a photo I found on Instagram and would crop out the top and bottom of the screen (showing the IG UI/UX) so only the photo would display. Now the entire phone screenshot displays.

Any plans on fixing this issue?

I am seeing the same problems in tvOS 26 on both of my Apple TV 4K boxes. In all previous versions of tvOS, the screensaver would show the edited versions of my photos in the designated folder, including all edits to color, brightness, contrast, crop, and all other variables that I made inside the Photos app.

Now, with tvOS 26, the screensaver shows the original, unedited versions of the photos (HEIC and RAW). When I open the album via the Photos app on the Apple TV 4K, I see the photos with all edits and crops, but the screensaver ignores all of that and only displays the original versions.

Can we get that fixed in the next tvOS release, pretty please?
