Apple Music Desktop App - Status bar gone when looking at FULL Music library
The removal of the Status bar from Apple Music on desktop feels like a significant oversight. This feature was crucial for helping Apple Music desktop users manage entire music libraries and playlists.
Currently, when I view the entire music library as songs, albums or artists (doesn’t matter) then go to “View” > “Show Status Bar,” no changes are made to the desktop view at all. I anticipated the status bar to appear at the top or a designated location, given that the look of the bottom of the app is now totally redesigned. However, the traditional status bar (or any version of it) is no longer visible at all when looking at FULL library (see example reference images below). This issue persists when viewing individual playlists, as the same menu bar option yields no results despite it still existing on the menubar. This is less annoying given that this information's available at the top of each individual playlist.
An example of the impact of this issue is when migrating local music libraries between devices or users within the Music App = Without the status bar, I can’t verify the exact Song, Hour, and Minute information for the entire library, which is essential for confirming successful transfers. I need to see the exact time, data and song amount in my library please.
Please bring this back! This issue has been discussed everywhere (Reddit, Youtube, etc..) so it’s a much wider issue.
