Hue and Meross lights activating together

So I just upgraded my Hue bridge to the ‘pro’ and as a result am having to add thIngs back to my Home app - at the moment I have just synced the Hue bridge to the Home app and added a single Meross 6 way extension downstairs with my media stuff plugged into. I had a look at the the new ‘motion area’ part of the Hue app and tested it with my living room lights (all Hue bulbs) and then set it up so a single lamp comes on, according to the ‘motion’ rules, in the living room after sunset only. I should add that the only thing I have added or changed to a previously fully functional and operational set up is the Hue Bridge Pro. There is just the single light to be activated with movement after sunset, and that is working fine.

Last night at 2am the main bedroom light (Hue bulb) and both bedside table lamps (Meross lamps) came on and all the same shade of purple. The Meross lamps haven’t even been added back to the Home app yet and don’t function as part of the Hue ‘motion area’ system even if I had created a rule for the bedroom (which I can’t because there aren’t three bulbs to activate anything). And then just now I went upstairs to find all three lights on again, all the same shade of purple. There are no automations setup in the Home app, and no Meross lights added again yet either. Using an Apple TV 4K as the hub too if that helps.. So does anyone know how is this possible, what could be going on or what do I need to do to fix this issue please..? many thanks.
