Can’t access gmail account after changing password
Long post but I appreciate any support. Recently changed password on a google account and am now getting “the mail server imap.gmail.com" is not responding” message. Have deleted email account, added it again, and it shows as inactive on the mail account list. When I open the account, mail, contacts, calendars and notes are greyed out and I can’t change. I was able to access them a couple of times but I had to login thru google site to open them. Window opened saying iOS need to access additional mail related areas, but I did not check these and clicked continue, which turned the applicable tab green. Did this for each tab and tried to access email, but it is still showing as inactive. Of course I tried redoing this several times and exceeded number of attempts so got locked out last night.
