Child Account Restrictions Impacting Parental Account
Hi,
I set my daughter up with her own iCloud account, set her age, and then turned on parental controls and restrictions (i.e. no explicit music, TV-PG content, no apps over age 12+ etc.) as well as time limits (e.g. 1 hour on Disney+) but those same limits I've set on her account are impacting usage of my own phone, which is clearly logged in to my parent account.
For example, I updated her settings earlier today to restrict all websites except those explicitly allowed. I then tried to Google something and was told I couldn't access Google even though I was on my phone, not my daughter's device, and clearly logged in to my own account - it literally shows my account when I click on 'Apple Account' on my device.
Why are restrictions I've placed on my daughter's account applying to my account? Why is Apple seemingly confusing my account with my daughter's? How do I resolve this issue so that my daughter, on her iPad, has content and time limit restrictions in place while I can freely use my own phone as intended?
