M2 MBA Trackpad randomly stops clicking

My M2 MacBook Air's trackpad randomly stops physically clicking . the click is registered and Force Touch also works (i.e if I press harder different function happens). I have tried diagnostics which shows no issue , the battery health looks fine and there is no bulging anywhere. only the physical feel i.e the haptic doesn't work , that too randomly it works and randomly it stops. it is not due to any accessories and it is not due to bluetooth. Also not due to macOS 26 as it was with 18 as well

Can it be fixed as I really dont want to pay to replace it
