Manually sort clips in Browser in Final Cut Pro

To the best of my knowledge (which is not all that good!) you cannot manually drag and drop clips in the browser.

These are the possibilities I have found using AI.

Sort clips in the browser

• Use the Clip Appearance button: In the browser, click the Clip Appearance button (which looks like a filmstrip) to open the options. 
• Sort by: Use the "Sort By" pop-up menu to automatically arrange clips by date, name, take, or duration. You can choose to sort in ascending or descending order. 
• Group by: You can also group clips by categories like "Roles" to organize them, but you cannot manually drag and drop them into a custom order. 
• List view: If you are in list view, you can click on a column heading (like "Name" or "Date") to sort the clips by that category. 

Regarding manual placement, it's the same with Resolve and probably all NLEs.
