Modified and Created date should be same as date taken

I am using iCloud on Windows to sync my photos with my PC. When Apple synchronizes a photo from iCloud to my PC, it sets the Date created and Date modifies NTFS Timestamps to the current date and time instead of the Date Taken EXIF value. This makes sorting by date extremely slow since Windows needs to read each file to get the Date Taken value. If Apple would just set the NTFS Timestamps to the value of Date Taken, the user experience would be vastly improved. I have used a utility, exiftool, to do this manually but this is not an efficient use of my time. Does Apple look at issues presented in these forums? Is there a better way to get Apple's attention on this issue? This would be an easy fix on Apple's end.
