Sync Library setting turning itself off

After going into setting and enabling sync library, I am able to begin syncing songs and playlists from the cloud and importing them from other sources. However, the Sync Library setting continues to shut itself off and fail either mid-way through, or after completion of, the import process. If I go back into settings, I see that Sync Library has turned itself off. I have restarted both the music app and my phone to no avail. This has been very frustrating and a poor user experience.

So apparently it has something to do with the amount of tracks that you have downloaded to your iCloud allegedly. I get the error message which tells me that I have reached my limit of music stored in the cloud. Apple Music has limited the cloud to have a maximum of 100,000 tracks.

Now I may possibly have something in that region but when I have deleted a lot of playlists from my phone that were downloaded but then removed download they are still in the cloud.

I have tried deleting music completely but it still doesn’t seem to allow me to turn on Sync on my Mac without it turning itself back off.

so I’m kinda stuck on what to do next. But if I do suss it out or if anyone else can shed some light on this issue I will be very much appreciative of your support
