MLS Season Pass is choppy on Apple TV
Why is MLS season pass choppy? No other Apple content seem to do this, but every game, it seems to be in every device, every TV, the soccer games are so choppy, like it's buffering, but I'm in an extremely fast connection. Why does it stutter like this?

Depending on where you are in the world, and whether you have a VPN for a different country active, you would connect to one of Apple’s CDN servers that is most local to you, with the intend that such gives best load balance and thus performance. Custom DNS settings might also disrupt any intended optimization.
If none of the above possibilities apply, then please contact the Apple Support staff for their advice.
Any freely available MLS content (as a non-subscriber) on Apple TV doesn’t have this described choppiness for me. 🤷♂️
I recognize the commentor is expert-level I don't think this has anything at all to do with VPN, nor did the original comment ask about the problem within the context of VPN usage.
The problem persists that Season Pass content repeatedly stutters, whether viewed in live broadcast or in playback as a full replay or a game recap. The problem occurred for me last season, and after following trial and error as prescribed in many different troubleshooting steps in other discussion threads I was able to fix it. And this year it has resurfaced, which begs the question why. The steps taken last year included adjustments and selections around the HDR settings and different options to the dynamic range and whether to match to content etc. I've made no further changes since last year's remedy so I wonder if the signal has changed and users are now expected to change settings along with it?
