Unwanted 'Thank you for viewing purchase details' emails on Apple Account

Thank you for viewing purchase details associated with the Apple Account (my email) through American Express in the last 24 hours. If this was you or someone authorized to view your American Express purchases, there is nothing more to do. Keep in mind that if you are part of Family Sharing for Apple, your family organizer may have viewed your purchases.

Original Title: I keep getting emails, that appear ligitment that begin with: Thank you for viewing purchase details associated with the Apple Account. I cannot figure out how to stop them.

It sounds like one of the many spam emails everyone receives and they are looking for the few people that would that would call a provided number and give them their account information. I have never seen any email provided by Apple that would say anything like that. The sending addresses are usually spoofed, so blocking is ineffective as they will just appear from a different email address.
