Apps freezing on iPadOS 26 with iPad Air M3

Several of my apps are freezing on iPadOS 26 [iPad Air 13” M3, if that matters]. I find I frequently have to restart the ipad to clear the freeze. Example: this form just froze. I had to jump out and begin deleting [turning off] other running apps before I could come back to this. Is this a memory problem?
