Air Play could not connect

Using an Apple TV 4K (64 GB WiFi only), Model A2737, with iOS 26.01

After this latest update I am not able to connect the Apple TV my HomePod speakers.

I get the message "Air Play could not connect" or "cannot connect to unknown"

Both HomePod speakers and Apple TV are on the same WiFi

Any ideas?
