Instagram app keeps saying 'Incorrect Password' on iPad and iPhone
hi everyone. over 3 weeks ago when I attempted to login to my instagram on my ipad, i was logged out of my account on all devices and since then have not been able to login. when i attempt to login it says “incorrect password” so i went through the process of making a new password, yet it still does not work, i just get a “incorrect password”. however, when i attempt to login to instagram on a safari browser (on the same device) there is no issue whatsoever, i can login. does anyone know what’s wrong or how to fix this? using instagram on safari is far to glitchy, i really want to get the app back. i have uninstalled the app and tried again, did not work, and i tried the method i saw on a community post where you delete facebook and messenger as well as instagram and the try again, it still didn’t work. if you have a solution please let me know.
