How to round up a number in Numbers spreadsheet to the nearest dollar?
I am a novice with Numbers spreadsheets and only have a rudimentary knowledge of math (meaning anything other than basic math is like a foreign language to me). I am trying to round up a number in a cell that is the result of a calculation in another cell. So it is easier to understand, I am adding my annual expenses and then dividing the total by 12 to be entered in another cell. But I want the total rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Example: D46 is the SUM of numbers in cells D38 to D45 and my formula for D46 is SUM D38:D45 and in cell D30 is the result of the total in D46 divided by 12. My formula in D30 is D46/12
How can I get the number in D30 to round up to the nearest dollar?
