When adding songs or albums to my library I'm getting 502 errors on MacOS. Similar issues on iOS but at least the album seems to get added but no album art. Tried force quitting Music and restarting Mac and iPhone. No change.

I've just had a look now (21:24 BST) and been able to add something no problem on my iMac, which in turn is showing up on my phone straight away too, so I'd hope it should be working again for everyone 🤞 However, I will admit to wondering "for how long?"
I don't believe these threads are monitored, so the only way to make sure Apple are seeing this is to raise it with them as a bug report each and every time it happens: Feedback - Apple Music - Apple. Might be worth giving them the URL of this thread every time too, i.e. so they don't default to the usual assumption that it's user error/a local issue! 😆
Talked with two different support folks. Tried signing out then in, restarted the app, restarted the machine, updated to latest version of Sequioa, turned off and on sync in settings. Not change. Works fine on iOS. I can play music on MacOS Music app but not access saved albums, libraries, add new albums or anything that requires iCloud services
I've just created a new thread with exactly this problem; will delete it! Good to know it's not just me. Have reported as a bug to Apple and suggested it seems to be an intermittent problem.
It would really help if the Status page ever actually reflected the status of things, wouldn't it? 😀
i just encountered this on a windows device. I was trying to download a song off yt and be able to play through my phone by using itunes on my laptop. When i wasnt able to add the song to icloud library i tried logging out so see if that fixed anything. Not only did it not fix anything but it ruined everything. All previous music on my laptop that was synced with my phone is now gone. I am left with 10 songs i have downloaded on this computer. I then update my phone, free storage on both devices, download apple music. To then have itunes tell me, you cant even do anything music related on here anymore, as long as you have apple music downloaded. OML. Now im stuck with a baren itunes/apple music and no way of syncing the music from my phone to my pc,. My phone wont even show up on either.
I'm having the same issue adding music on MacBook Air. I can successfully add music on iOS, but it won't sync with MacOS.

Checked again now (10:30 BST) and all is working again … fingers crossed it remains that way!
