Bluetooth buffering when connecting hearing aid to iPhone 13

I’ve just changed my phone to an iPhone 13 and am trying to link my hearing aid to Bluetooth. However “Devices” is constantly buffering so I can’t connect. My iPhone 7 was connected permanently. How do I stop the buffering?

.... constantly buffering so I can’t connect"

You may want to check whether your hearing-aids are lisred as:"Made for iPhone" (Mfi) compatible,

Mfi Hearing Aids listed can take advantage of iPhone's software features for hearing.

Hearing-aids that are not listed generally need to rely on bluetooth for connection and an app for control

Whether listed as Mfi, or not:

The hearing-aids may require a firmware update for compatibility with the iPhone in order to connect.

If you use an app with the hearing-aids, check in that app for firmware or app updates.

Else: Check the hearing-aid manual for the firmware info., or check the manufacturer's support website for a possible download. Otherwise, your hearing-specialist may be able to help with updates.
