Problems Using Apple TV App on Windows 11 Desktop Computer

I am using the Apple TV App on my Windows 11 (24H2, 64bit) Desktop Computer.

When I watch a movie: then stop it using the on screen "=" symbol: then try to close out the movie I was watching by clicking on the full screen square symbol on the top right corner of the movie:

my entire screen starts blinking on/off repeatedly until I close out the App entirely.

What I was trying to do was stop watching one movie so I can pick another movie to watch.

In contrast, however, if I am watching a movie: then stop it using the on screen "=" symbol: then close out the movie using the "back arrow" on the top left corner of the App's interface screen....then NO SCREEN BLINKING OCCURS and I can then pick another movie to watch.

Why is this "blinking" occurring and is this the normal way to use the controls to switch from watching one movie to watching another different movie?
