Securing Wi-Fi hotspot data traffic from Android phone to Mac using Adguard DNS

I connect to the internet on my Macbook from my mobile phone, and I recently installed the Adguard app on my phone to block ads and trackers.

For a most secure data traffic from my mobile phone to my Macbook, I was advised to set up ADGuard+ Adguard DNS on my mobile phone and also on my MacBook Air and/or other devices. What is your experience? Is it True?

I downloaded the Adguard extension for Safari from the Apple Store, but Adguard support recommends that I have to download also Adguard+ Adguard DNS app on all my devices.

Unfortunately, I noticed that the Adguard application on my Macbook is not compatible with iCloud's private relay.

How can I make the connection of all my incoming and outgoing data from my mobile phone more secure when I connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot? My mobile Iphone uses the Android operating system, it is not an iPhone. Thank you to anyone who can help me.
