iPad software update stuck on apple logo with progress bar during restore

I was planning to restore my iPad to older 18.6 iPadOS as i didn't like new iPadOS 26.0.1. During this process i have downloaded the iPadOS successfully through Windows based machine and it is installed more than 50% as per the progress bar status and it is stuck afterwards.It is stucked since last 24 hrs. I have done all the steps given in public link below. Currently the iPad is stucked with software update during restore and apple logo with progress bar are visible.

Apple fundamentally does not support rolling-back of production versions of iPadOS (in this case iPadOS 26.0.1) to an earlier version of iPadOS.

If the process that you are following has stalled, your only available option is to perform a forced-restart - and then, if necessary, restore the current version of iPadOS 26.x.

Force restart iPad - Apple Support

Rolling back to an earlier version, even if possible, would be a short-term measure - as security updates for your iPad will soon cease to be available for iPads capable of update to iPadOS 26.x.
