I wanted to remove an app from my Homescreen. I pressed the wrong button obviously, since now I can’t find it if I search for it. The only place I can see the app is in the folder “hidden apps” under apps in setting. I can’t delete in the App Store either

If you hid the app after choosing "Require Face ID" from the menu, then it can be found in the App Library in the "Hidden" Apps folder.
Tap on the folder, authenticate, and then tap and hold on the app, and choose "Don’t Require Face ID" and authenticate again.
The App will be returned to a Home Screen.
