Guided Access video freezing on iPad after iPadOS 26 update

I use iPads for homeschooling, and we use guided access for locking in the iPad within the school website, which worked awesome before we upgraded to ios26 and after 26.0.1 did not get fixed either. Videos on the website are freezing up and the only solution that fixes it temporarily is to power cycle the iPad and then turn on guided access again. That happens multiple times a day

Commiserations on the frequent website-video-freezes ... you could try using a different browser.

If a third-party browser (non-Apple) or app is involved it may need updating as well.

The school website may have recommendations if something has become incompatible with iOS 26.
