Help! Can´t remove an email account (the emailaddress has been deleted)!

Ok, this may be somewhat complicated... Hopefully someone can help.

I used to have an email address for a job I had. Before I could remove the email account from my phone, the email account was in fact deleted. Now, each time I open my emails it asks me to submit the password for this email account, yet I can no longer submit a password (I have tried the password I had), because the account has in fact been deleted. I cannot access the part in accounts where you go into this email account and delete at the bottom. Any other accounts cannot be accessed for this either, as it only allows me to see the account that required a password, yet there is no password to provide. The old password comes up as "incorrect". I have contacted my previous employer who confirmed it was deleted. If I go onto Google and try and log in with the email, it also says it no longer exists.

How can I delete this account from my phone? Adding some screenshots for reference. I´m at a loss!
